PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)

A water-insoluble, thermoplastic resin that is a polymer of vinyl chloride, derived by the polymerization of vinyl chloride. It can be made more flexible and softer by adding plasticizers such as the most widely used being phthalates which makes it a sort of Jelly Rubber or Vinyl Rubber.
